Reserve Officer Training Corps

Main content start

The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is a college-to-military program that allows Stanford students the opportunity to become distinguished military leaders through a combination of classroom learning and practical training. While Stanford does not physically host any ROTC programs on campus, we have partnered with local campuses to ensure that students may be able to participate in this program while enrolled. For more information on the various ROTC programs, please see the cards below.

US Army ROTC at Santa Clara University

Army ROTC at Santa Clara is a program that fosters the development of cadets' academic, athletic, professional, and mental strengths. This program is ideally designed as a four-year, process. During classes, leadership labs, physical training and field training exercises, you will learn firsthand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups and conduct missions as an Officer in the Army.

US Navy ROTC at UC Berkeley

NROTC UC Berkeley has distinguished itself through the years as a premier program in naval officer development. While a standard Naval ROTC curriculum exists, the unit at UC Berkeley draws its strengths from its location in the heart of the Bay Area, the cultural center of technology and entrepreneurship with access to some of the world's leading experts in a variety of fields.

US Air Force and US Space Force ROTC at San Jose State University

At Det 045, we produce exemplary leaders of character for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. Spartan Airmen are servant-leaders who embody the attributes of integrity, selflessness, and excellence as they prepare to lead our country in 21st-century operations.
